Vertical lift system

Vertical Lift System

The first on the marked with four

- wheel operation

Vertical Lift System

The idea behind the vertical lift system

1. Reduced warehouse area

Reduction of square meters with 70-90% compared to

ordinary shelves provided that minimum 6 meters of headroom.

2. More efficient workers

Effectively in number of picks are doubled by 4-6.

Numbers of experience

(numbers of article.nr. per.hour/per.operator) provided

6 meters of headroom/3 modules.

- Ordinary shelves approx.50 picks

- Narrow aisle system approx.75 picks

- Vertical Lift system as far as 300 picks*

   Less wrong picks

   Less sick days of workers

Accurate work positions for the workers

* can be decreased to between 400-500 picks

when using the display type.

3. High reliability.

Simple service/maintenance

Long lifetime on every tear parts (tooth-frame, toothed wheel)

Fast/simple supply for every spare part.

4. Standard production

Delivered in modules for 4-16 meters height.

Standard weight interval per cassette 300 - 400 - 500 kg.

Standard cassette dimension; lenght: 1220 mm - 1650 mm - 2440 mm.

Height: 820 mm - 620 mm.

Other dimensions can be delivered by request.

5. Operative system.

Delivered with standard control panel E300.

Organized for connection towards administration system.

Can be delivered with standard computer based program.

History

The idea for the concept came after a

co-operation among Ford Motors and our first supplier, Promptus Inc. in the USA. In 1982 the first vertical lift system installed at Ford Motors. In 1992 was Promptus Vertical lift system introduced on the technical fair in Paris. And the first projects in Europe were delivered in November 1992;

- 8 modules type 8000 with Norsk Scania

in Oslo.

Per October 2003 there has been delivered totally 428 modules. 241 in Norway and 187 in Sweden.

Presentation of a new model

Compact lift

Nordverk Norge AS is proud to announce a new and improved type of vertical lift system. In collaboration   with the production company CLS AB in Smålandsstenar, Sweden, we have succeeded to gain a concept witch after our opinion gives a complete product for storing and picking of small and medium parts.

Nordverk Norge As is the company in Scandinavia witch has the longest experience with vertical lift system  (since 1992) and know what the marked wants and needs of different functions. This combined with "Smålandsk" technical knowledge has produced THE MOST PROFITABLE vertical lift system IN THE MARKED

The following improvement has been done:

- Maximum utilization of the per modules.

- Maximum numbers of cassettes per height meters, which will say minimum c/c 75mm.

- Cassette adjustment in height; c/c 25mm.

- Minimal clearing between goods/cassette; 10mm.

- Maximum speed both vertical and horizontal.

- Minimal service costs because of the new and simple construction.

- Several variations within the cassette sizes and loading.

- The motor is installed in the lift, so there will be no extra spaces taken.

Construction improvement

Vertical Lift System

Operation of the lift, up and down, is built on the principle of a tooth-frame.

This has been the most stable way to do it, with the intention of different loads and running time.

The most important has to be that a tooth-frame
will become more stable even after several years of operation; in opposite to the use of chains witch after a time of use will stretch.

Compact Lift is equipped with 4 tooth-frames (one in each corner of the lift).

Double chain operation (totally 4 chains) for out- / in-motoring of the cassettes.

Minimal distance between the cassettes; 75mm.

Minimal height on the steering panel under the access opening.

Simple service with text on the keyboard.

Keyboard is placed on a reversible arm.

Accurate and good access opening.

Electric handled droved hatch in front of the access opening (a roll top of aluminum - option).

Minimal distance between the upper edge of the goods to the next cassette.
